    Hi darkmaer,

Thanks for your feedback. The application should transition to the post screen after you take a picture and save it. We'll look into the issue. In the meantime, a few suggestions to help you work around the problem:

    1. Follow the instructions in the help submenu (off of the main menu) to give CellSpin permission to send synthetic keystrokes to the camera application. This allows for better integration between CellSpin and the camera app and might resolve the problem.

    2. If not, you can use the "select media" feature on the CellSpin main menu to upload a preexisting file (e.g., the picture you already took). This feature is also useful if a post fails because of a network connectivity problem.

    3. You can also post a picture by emailing it to go@cellspin.net

Some more info from Sravan, our Blackberry guru: if you haven't granted CellSpin permission to send keystrokes to the camera (suggestion 1 in the post above), you'll need to exit the camera application manually after saving your photo, at which point you'll be brought to the CellSpin post screen.

    Hi darkmaer,

I would suggest you to close the camera after taking the picture and it will transition to the post screen.

Please follow the instructions provided in the help. By configuring those settings, after taking the picutre it will automatically close the camera without your intervention and move to the next screen.

    Thanks,
    Sravan.

I'm on the 8320 and it is not detecting pictures on my memory card. It only shows file:///store/home/user/pictures/myFaves folder.

I did a battery pull just to be sure it wasn't the initial installation not being able to see it.

Just curious, what OS version is the team testing on? 4.3 or 4.2?

    Hi Blaze,

Sorry for the confusion. Here's the current situation:

Supported: Launching the camera app from the CellSpin main screen and capturing a photo to the memory card. After returning to CellSpin, the photo on the memcard will be detected, and you'll go to the post screen where you can upload it.

Not yet supported: Posting preexisting pics from the memcard using the "select media" feature on the main menu. Right now, select media only allows you to post pics stored in phone memory. We'll fix this in the next version (scheduled for release next week).

Can't wait until next week. I have a lot of fun pics to add. Looking forward to it.
