Sign Up.
If you are already signed up, go to step 1.
- Go to your account which is accessible via clicking
on your username next to "signed in as".
- Then click on the tab called "add site".
- Click on the "add site".
- Then select Wordpress from the dropdown menu.
- Enter in your Wordpress account details and choose a display name for this account if you
wish it to say something other than "Wordpress". This user must at least have the
ability to create and publish posts. (i.e. Author status)
- Enter the URL to access your wordpress blog. For wordpress.com blogs, this is typically
http://{blogname}.wordpress.com. For self-hosted sites, the URL can be whatever you configured. http://{hostname}/{path}
- Specify whether the site URL provided is hosted by wordpress.com or is self-hosted.
Wordpress.com handles audio and video differently than self-hosted blogs.
- Hit "save" to complete adding Wordpress.
